And it came to pass in the year One Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy Seven that there did gather in a public house in the city of Detroit a group of young scholars of the law. And thin were they about the waist and thick was the hair on their heads. And together did they empty the pitchers of that place.
Yea, and many were the pitchers that they emptied.
And the name that they called themselves was WACOFF. Lo, and the Wacoffs took unto them the women of that place and knew them. And unto them were born children. And the Wacoffs did tie silken ties about their necks, and starched shirts did they wear, and they toiled grievous toil in the courtrooms and conference rooms of the land.
Verily, their toil was grievous
And the furrow of age did crease the brows of the Wacoffs.
And David the Handsome wore bifocals before his eyes, and the dread scholar Barry did need assistance both to see and to hear, and the foreheads of Marshal and Andrew rose unto a great height. And the hair of Stimson grew thin with a great thinness. And the hair of Coon was grey, and great was his girth.
Behold, even the girth of Guerriero was not greater!
And the dicks of the Wacoffs rose not as before.
And then it came to pass that the Wacoffs did gather in their infirmity in a place called Otsego And there they flailed at the balls of golf. And many games of chance did they play there.
And they ate of the red meat and did drink deeply into the night.
And verily it is said:
In that place they were boys again.
AMEN
